Chapter 3 Nothing felt real to me. That man who took Harry revealed so much to me that night. I felt as if my whole life had been a lie. I waited and waited and yet Harry never came back. I asked my Aunt and Uncle almost every day when he would return but they would never answer. I waited and waited patiently ever night and every day for the day my brother would return. One day something odd happened. Uncle Vernon took us to Kings Cross Station. He never takes us there! Then Harry appeared and I almost squealed in happiness. I hadn't seen him since his Birthday! We went home and Harry told me so much! He went to school for witches and wizards and defeated a super bad wizard named Voldemort. After I said "Voldemort" a couple times Harry told me that I shouldn't say his name. A wondered if I would be able to go to this school as well. It all felt so unreal and breathtaking as if it was something Harry had made up. "Can I go next year?" I asked excitedly. "I'm sorry but you have to be born before September 1st and you were born October 7th." Harry answered. I stared at him with a pouted expression on my face. "So I have to wait even longer?" I whined. Harry nodded. "Is there anything we can do for me to get in this year?" I asked him. "Maybe if you study hard enough and then we ask they'll let you in early." he suggested. So for the whole summer Harry would help me study. Finally I felt just enough ready to go to school. "How will we send them a letter now?" I asked. Harry shrugged. "Hedwig is locked in her cage." I quickly gabbed a bobby pin out of my hair and stuck it in the keyhole. Harry beamed, "That's brilliant, Ellie!" I smiled. We mailed Dumbledore our letter and waited patiently to receive one back. Then something very unexpected happened the following day. I was in my cupboard reading a book since some strangers came over for a work thing. I heard a sudden bang come from upstairs and then footsteps above my head. The cupboard shook a little bit every time someone went up and down the stairs. Then I heard more footsteps then Harry's voice. He was supposed to be in his room. I opened the cupboard. To my surprise I saw this little elf creature wearing a pillow case. Harry made eye contact with me and motioned for me to be quiet. I followed both of them ad the weird creature dropped a cake on the strangers head. Then he disappeared. Things did not go well from there. Harry had bars on his windows! Many days passed and we got nervous that he wouldn't answer us in time. Finally Hedwig came back through a downstairs window while the Dursely's were shopping. She carried a letter in her mouth. I ripped it open and read it out loud. "Dear Elizabeth Potter."
