My boys!!!! I haven't drawn them in so long, I missed them. Both got very slight redesigns, I gave Pierre some necklaces and Lucien's colour palette is more blue; other than that they're the exact same. This drawing took four hours apparently, which is a lot longer than my usual two hours for a fully rendered scene. It's probably because I had no idea what to draw at first, I made like three thumbnail sketches before I decided on this. Please enjoy the individually drawn and shaded blades of grass, I spent so long on them and trying to figure out how the shadows would work but it was so worth it. Not all of them are shaded because I didn't want to get carpal tunnel and also I was getting lazy. The very blurry words you might be able to see are definitely parts of a Sherlock Holmes excerpt. I absolutely love adding a billion different overlays to my art because it makes it look better for some reason; maybe my pink-yellow-orange gradient overlay just enhances the colours or something.
