Duckling out! #art #fox #art #at #blockshade #all #LovelyDuckling 10/5/24 Yay, my first ever art trade (I'm a little late, guys...) I'm trying out a new blockshading technique called line blockshading, and basically it's just a bunch of lines. I can't decide if I like it yet. It's a lot quicker than what I normally do while still being very detailed, so I guess I like it. I'm trying to explore new methods for blockshading and art in general. I'm working on an axolotl blockshade (which is taking FOREVER) and I'm doing circle blockshading for that one (reshaped circles) which I guess is how most people blockshade... I don't have a name for my usual method, but basically I create custom shapes for each blob of color. That's also why most of mine have really sharp lines and stuff. Maybe I'll combine stuff and create my own method one day. Anywayyyy I'll quit yapping, I can't believe some of you are actually going to read all of this (I wouldn't lol) If you've read this far comment "girl, why you yapping?" LOL
