Hello folks! Welcome to my second art dump! This dump has 12 drawings, most of them being oc content and concepts. At the end of this, I will discuss my process of designing characters. This first drawing is of my ocs Guy and Rat, chilling beside each other.... Hhehhehhehehe :3c 2. Another doodle of Guy and Rat, this time they are going to the beach! :D 3. Drawing of Guy with lyrics to the song Up To No Good by The Hoosiers! 4. Someone said they wanted to see a bear character who was also a catboy and I knew I needed to make a drawing of it!! :0 [Character Design Process] 1. How I usually start making characters is to sketch out a base head so I can get the hair drawn up. This is the base I used for most of the drawings. 2. This was the first drawing I made for the idea of a humanized pencil that I scrapped. 3. This is the start of when I was trying to get the hair for the next idea, a humanized plant pot. I was going for a more elegant look but I didn't think it fit yet! 4. I continued to go for that elegant look, looking into inspiration for hair and putting down many different pictures of characters and objects I thought fit him. 5. I was getting closer to what I wanted now, with the idea of long hair and glasses to show off that sophisticated look, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted yet. 6. I wondered if a ponytail would work and went for a more feminine look, but I didn't like this approach and looked around for more references. 7. I was finally happy with the design, having the character look a bit messy but sophisticated in the way I wanted. 8. Finally, I made a finishing doodle of him, showing off his attitude and personalizing him, making him be seen as more unapproachable because of a trait I planned to give him, which came from the idea of what if the plant pot had a parasite in the soil, making him more unhinged.
