Isabell’s pov Isabell heard the clutter of a train whistle and footsteps. She had done it; she was going to Hogwarts. Footsteps echoed far and near her ears, chattering children were heard everywhere. Isabell felt nothing like before, she was known. Feeling a bit stuffy, Isabell slipped out. Her small feet fell flat on the shaking train floor. “Now all I need,” she mutter to herself, “is to have a little walk and come back to this suitcase” Isabell stood up. This must be the luggage room, she thought, noticing all the suitcases. She decided to leave. Just a quick walk, then return to her hiding spot. She slid open the compartment door, only to be stopped by a fair-skinned girl who was (like everyone else her age) much taller than her. She looked up, absolutely startled. “Sorry” she muttered, careful not to reveal too much about herself. “It’s ok,” the girl muttered back, “are you ok?” “Yeah” Isabell said, but she felt something, a connection, as if they were related in some way. “Impossible” she muttered to herself The girl’s eyes widened. “Um, are you ok?” she asked “Yeah,” Isabell replied quickly; she had forgotten she was there, “I think I’d better go... to my compartment, you know” “You can come with us,” the girl said, “I’m Roselette Black” Isabell hesitated, of course she wanted to go to her compartment. No one ever asked her to hang out with her- well, maybe except Bella and Jackie, but that was only to annoy. Also, in movies, whenever someone asks the main character to join them, things go wrong. “I’ll go” she decided, her voice ringing in defiance. Hiding away from Hermione was forgotten to her now. Isabell followed Roselette into her compartment. A boy, about Isabell’s age was already seated there. “Rosie, why did you bring a five-year-old?” he asked, crossing his arms. His steel grey eyes watching Isabell’s every move. “I’m not five!” protested Isabell, staring at him with great hatred, “I’m eleven!” The boy rolled his eyes playfully, “Good, or else I’d be wondering what a five-year-old is doing on this train” “Don’t mind Theo,” said Roselette, “He’s like this sometimes” Roselette and Isabell sat down on the opposite side of the boy- Theo. “So, it’s your first year too?” Theo asked, smirking. Isabell bit her lip, unsure of how to respond, “Um... yeah” she lied. “ooo, it’s ours too!,” Roselette replied happily, “We could be a trio; fighting crimes, saving the world, and having-” “Don’t get too excited,” Theo said playfully then turned to Isabell, “So, what house do you want to be in?” Isabell, hesitated. She had no idea what house she wanted to be in. She didn’t even know what they were talking about, the only reason she even came here was to have a quick look at Hogwarts, then somehow go back home. That was it. “I don’t know,” she said thoughtfully. ‘Well, I’m going to be in Slytherin,” Theo said, smiling, “My father was in it, and his father was in it, and his father was in it-” “We get it!” Roselette interrupted, giggling, “I want to be in Gryffindor, my parents were in it when they went to Hogwarts” “And your father is in Azkaban” added Theo, smirking. Roselette looked at him with a look that could’ve certainly killed him. Just then, the compartment door slid open. “Have you seen a toad?” a familiar voice said “A boy named Nev-” Isabell rushed out of the compartment; the last thing she wanted was for Hermione to see her or worse, to let the truth be balled out. “Hey!,” she heard Theo say, half-jokingly, “Where did the child go?” This was a bad idea, Isabell panicked, a really bad idea.
