I was waiting at the Hospital wing. It was only now that I realized the head of houses were alerted, went to Mystica and joined the battle. There were a lot of us who were injured. I was thankful I was finally the few who stayed awake. A few days later, some people woke up, like Iris and Madison. When almost everyone woke up, I told them what I found out about the eyes. When I was at the library, studying more about the eye colors, the corner of my eye saw Jayden. I looked up then quickly looked down. I felt him walking towards me.. I said nothing but continued reading. Out of nowhere, I started to go to another aisle, standing up. Suddenly, he took my hand. "Where are you going?" I tried tugging it off, but I couldn't. He was too strong. Jayden pinned me against the wall. "Damn you-" I muttered. "You're mad at me, right?" He asked casually. "Go away." I said. I could feel myself growing redder and redder. "No." Jayden said. He leaned in towards my face, pressing his lips against mine, his arms around my body. I had no choice but to kiss him back. --- "You can't stay like this all the time, you know?" Jayden said while we were packing our extremely heavy luggage. "I'm leaving. You won't see me again for the next 2 years." I stayed quiet. "I'll miss you." "I'll miss you too." --- "I got Fiona Flutterby." I said. "I don't think we'll ever grow out of Chocolate Frogs." Adrien said. "For once, I agree with that stupid Andrew-like brain of yours." Leo said. "Agreed. Also, not to mention idiotic Lee Jordan-" Madison picked an apple and began to eat. We laughed. We all laughed. No matter what, we would always be friends. A year at Hornlaw is never a normal one, from what we've experienced. We all left and said our goodbyes. Jayden promised to update me and keep contact. After everyone left, it was just me and Madison. "Madison." I said. "Can I ask you something?" "Sure." She said. "Where do you go after Hornlaw?" "Nowhere. I stay with an abusing aunt. I'm planning to run away from her." "Would you..." I paused. "Would-would you like to be my sister?" Her eyes opened wide. "B-but-" "My mom agrees. You have no parents, and she would love to have you as a daughter." "I-I. Thank you." She smiled, tears coming out of her eyes. "You're smiling." My smile dropped while I was looking at her in shock. "I don't even care!" She said.
