My dog, Rufus, age 14 died on September 23, 2024. He had been going through kidney failure for about a month, and that day he collapsed while on a walk. He had to be carried out the nearest vet, where they put him down. I understand it was so he could have final peace, but it still hurts. Fly High, little buddy.
