WARNING! POSSIBILITY OF LAG! Green Flag to run. This is an engine for test running my latest card game, Battle Collectio. What it basically does is simulate 10,000 different matches and gathers data from each and every one of these matches, comparing to see which player won the most matches. This way I can make tweaks to the characters and find insightful results quickly without having to test play it 10,000 times. I think my friends would tire of the game after the 2,364th time playing it. :P Things I've learned so far from this engine: -- Dodging characters used to be too powerful. I fixed this, and now there is almost perfect balance. I say almost because Blocking characters are now about 4% more powerful than Dodging characters; I was not able to work out the rules in a way that made them perfectly equal. I am okay with this however, it won't matter too much overall, it's such a small percentage. -- Chance of a tie at the end of a match is only about 3% after my latest tweak to the game. -- I love coding (I already knew this, but still this reiterated the obvious fact! :D).
