While your dog is young, he has a better chance of getting sick, and that chance is increased even MORE if he's unhappy. If he gets sick, his health will decrease every 15 seconds. Click the vet to heal him (it'll cost you!), and he will recover more and more every 30 seconds. Buy a clown to get him happy again, and click feed to feed. Play a minigame to earn more coins, and buy bannanas to increase his hunger points. If he is hungry, he will get sick soon, so fix that fast! His age increases until he is 14, and he will age no more. Have fun with your doggy and don't let him die!
