''You know, you should just drop it.'', I said as I looked at Jake. We had been completing incomplete notes, homeworks and essays all night long. ''Drop what?'', he asked startled. ''That smile'', I replied with an expressionless face. ''What is wrong with it?'', he asked but he didn't look me in the eye. ''It doesn't reach upto your eyes'', I replied as if that was obvious. ''Yes it does. I mean it'', he replied to my questioning glance. ''Totally. Let's do something fun. Been a long time since we did something actually good, especially you.'', I remarked as I sttod up. ''You don't mean right now, right? We have transfiguration'', he said as he looked at me with that fake smile. again. ''I mean it. Come now, or I will have to take Harry with me and that...is not something I feel like doing because he is the reason why I am stared at so much'', I replied as I packed my things. ''Ok, I am coming. Where are you planning to go?'', he asked. ''Don't ask, some place which is special.'', I replied as I started to run towards the picture. ''A ride please'', I spoke as Jake came behind, slowly. ''What are we doing? We could land in detention!'', he exclaimed in my ear. I didn't reply. ''You are insane'', he said giving up. ''Oh, Ithought you knew I was like that. Say that again, please'', I retorted with a grin. We walked into the potrait, and ended up at the Hog's Head Inn. ''This thing is just- WOW'', Jake said. ''Shh! I can't blend in. You might be tall but I am not.'', I warned him as I tried to blend in. ''Hah, Shorteria is equal to Histeria'', he replied in my ear. ''You sure you don't want to attend Transfiguration?'', Jake asked when I ignored him and made my way towards Zonko's. ''I am as sure of that as you are tall'', I replied back with a smirk. Jake smiled, and it was a genuine smile which was reflected in his eyes. ''You are something else really. I think I want to know you better'', Jake replied as he beamed. ''If only I could know myself well'', I replied with a sigh and then immediately turned it into a smile. If I didn't smile, the day would be ruined for Jake. I knew he could look through my facade so, I kept distracting him with things and sure enough, he didn't notice MY fake smile.
