Most instructions are in-game. You can open the character screen by pressing the "c" button, and to advance to the next moon, press "3" on your keyboard when you open the nest menu. Around late 2019 - early 2020, I tried to remake the original BayClan game (instead of working on The Leader's Call, whoops). I wrote out a new plot, redesigned all the characters, and remade the territory. I finished a couple chapters, but ended up abandoning it because I didn't like where the plot was going. I couldn't stand how bland the characters were, but I didn't want to change them due to nostalgia. So, it's been sitting in my files for years now. Even though it's barely anything, I think it's worth sharing what I had done. When I started working on The Starlight Odyssey, I used some elements of this game's plot. If you play through this and read my design notes inside the project, you'll probably notice a few similarities! My idea was that BayClan and MountainClan were at odds due to MountainClan breaking the Warrior Code. Burnstar believed that the Warrior Code was too restrictive, and wanted to abolish it and assassinate Moonstar. Moonstar wanted to preserve the Warrior Code and defeat Burnstar. You could either side with Moonstar, or betray your clan and side with Burnstar. Shadowpool was originally going to be a new character for this game, and her fleeing to MountainClan was going to kick off the plot. Moonstar became Cranestar, and Burnstar became Smokestar. Specterstorm became Roseblight, and a new character, Dustcloud, became Silvermoon. Rosethorn and Goldenmask became Windripple and Stormhail, and Fawnleap and Flamebright became Sunspirit and Wildwind. Obviously the plot changed a lot what with the wildcats and Ancient Ones, but the core theme of tradition vs freedom is still there. Anyways, you can play up until Lilyflower brings you to MountainClan. There's nothing after that. You can just walk around and see the newer designs and some of the new lore I wrote. There are a number of glitches, but I won't be fixing them. Enjoy!
