EDIT: added finished design drawing green flag / space for next / click to zoom in (SORRY MOBILE USERS) -- SO, I've wanted to make a Halloween costume for a while now and in September I did a little basic design for what I want to make I was thinking of doing some kinda witch crow creature thing so this is what I've made so far :D For the crow skull mask I'm going to put black mesh on the eye and nose holes, cover the outside of the mask with a kind of paper mache type of technique (to look like bone), and I'm going to add a moving bottom jaw Also, for anyone worried about the mask being cardboard, this is just for Halloween and I will be putting some type of waterproof sealant to stop the moisture from my breathing getting the cardboard wet (plus I might line the inside by gluing black fabric on it too, just to make it looks nice and clean and not weird cardboard box stuff) So yeah (I'm also gonna make some of the clothes but that is definitely going to take way longer, and idk if I'll finish in time for Halloween because of all my homework) 1. Entire costume idea sketch 2. FINISHED design 3. Shirt sketch 4. Pants + belt sketch 5. Measurements for skull mask to get idea of where my face would be compared to the skull mask 6. Template (this isn't super accurate, I just sketched over the previous paper) 7. Template traced onto cardboard 8-9. Cut up cardboard and just eyeballed the gluing/angles of pieces 10-12. 2nd half glued on 13-14. A little dragonfly friend landed on the skull while I was taking pictures :) -- design and art by @SkittlesParrot design inspo from many different sources music . kleptomaniacrow by madilyn mei
