Returning to my October art challenge, where I do whatever I want artistically for every day of October. Hopefully I'll make it further this year than last. As before, not necessarily everything I make will go into this project—just visual art. (Click on either side of the screen) Days 2–3: Another October 3rd piece, sketched one day and finished the next. Day 4: I've recently (August) listened to the Magnus Archives podcast, but it took me this long to actually start getting my character designs down on paper. In order: Martin, Jon, Tim, Sasha, Melanie, Not!Sasha, Basira, Daisy, Elias Days 5–6: Mock screenshots from an AU I have based on the game Slay the Princess. This chapter is called the Sorcerer, and it's an analogue to the Witch. Day 7: An entry for a medieval bestiary art game I'm participating in elsewhere. Draw the creature based only on an anonymised description from a 13th-century bestiary! (The text in this image is a quote from this week's entry.) The challenge is currently winding down, so instead of just one creature, it's several with short descriptions. At the time of posting I don't know what these lizards actually are. (Update: The first lizard is possibly actually a frog, the second is possibly just a generic description of what all lizards do, and the third is a newt, which is not a lizard. Go figure.) Day 12: Mal du Pays from hit timeloop game In Stars and Time Days 13–14: Another bestiary game entry, this time for snakes, and the first part of my ten-day countdown to the Pristine Cut for other hit timeloop game Slay the Princess. Ten days left, featuring the Fury and Demo Fury. Day 15: Nine days left, featuring the Den. Day 16: Eight days left, featuring the Apotheosis. Day 17: Seven days left, featuring the Moment Of Clarity. Day 18: Six days left, featuring the Damsel. Day 19: Five days left, featuring the Prisoner. My favourite so far. Day 20: Four days left, featuring the Spectre and the previewed "Chain Princess." Let the record show that I believe the latter to come from the former. Day 21: Three days left, featuring the Princess... and is that your blade...? Day 22: Two days left, featuring the Narrator. Another good one. Day 23: One day left, featuring the Long Quiet.
