(watch project) SIDE NOTES: I originally wanted to upload the full clip of me playing to YouTube, but Creatortionist didn't want to upload it for some personal reasons. So I had to make do with the still images seen here. There's only been one time a Governor General needed to dissolve parliament (the photo I used), and there's actually a pretty interesting story behind it. PM Gough Whitlam bought an abstract piece of art called "Blue Poles" for over $1M, adjusting for inflation this is almost $15M! (just under $10M USD). This of course sent the government's budget into turmoil, so GG Sir John Kerr decided to dismiss Whitlam. I encourage you read more about it here!: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Poles# I know I've never posted myself playing piano so you don't have a gauge of how I usually do, but the reason I messed up so much here is because of a few factors. One of them is that I'd never played on a grand piano before, but I'd be lying if I didn't say some of it was just sheer nervousness! All images used are either from Google search results I didn't bother checking or were taken by me/my friends. Speaking of which, when taking the video of me playing, it was one of my friends holding the camera so... credit is here. If you're wondering, yes, we had a very good holiday. It was a really nice break from the rest of life, and we got to see some great things (including the senate's custom red "exit" sign, thrilling stuff)! :) I've been feeling a bit better lately, though still not the best.
