This project is not mine, all credit goes to Pahunkat. As some of you may know, over the past few months I've had a major nostalgia explosion for 2018-2019 Scratch and have been obsessively archiving many projects I remember from that era on the Internet Archive. Some of them have been easier to find than others. Many only exist as unofficial reuploads, or remixes I had to edit in order to restore the project to its original state. Finding this one, though, was just luck. I had been trying to find a copy of this one for a while, because I vividly remember loving it back in 2018 and wanting to be an animator on Scratch because of it. As far as I could tell in the search process though, it was more or less lost. I couldn't find a single reupload or remix. The Internet Archive had the URL saved, but thanks to the API changes, that was basically useless (thanks Scratch Team). Anyway, I was randomly combing through my old My Stuff folder, when I found one of my earliest unshared projects from late 2018: "Q&A 2 but every sound is reversed" (I had way too much free time in 2018 apparently). After that, it was a simple matter of un-reversing all the audio, throwing the file on the Internet Archive, and trying desperately to get this to work on the Scratch editor. Ultimately, I succeeded by using the Wi-Fi in one of my classrooms instead of the connection in my dorm. The thumbnail, interestingly, was nowhere to be found in the project file. I had to dig through the Internet Archive so I could find the project ID, at which point I discovered the thumbnail is actually still hosted on the Scratch API in high quality. Lucky me. I'm glad to be able to present this (I believe) lost classic of the website. If Pahunkat wishes for me to remove this project, just contact me on any account and I will oblige. #animation #pahunkat &a
