Chapter one of our rp! (Our being me and Mothcat was overlooking the Farm Arrays, the tiny droplets of rain dripping on his thin, delicate wings. He was looking for something, or to be more specific, someone. He scanned his souringings, his antenna twitching slightly at some movement. He bounded in that direction, before ending up with a visual on a massive blue slugcat, who was almost double a lizard’s size. His body was decorated with bones, some pouches and some very messy fur. He was considiberly strong, his muscles rippling under his bone attire. The spears on his back clattered together- Explosive, normal, electric, and a strange one with a cloth on it. He needed to find his brother, and the sooner the better. “Hey you! Have you seen my brother? He's very small, and looks like a bug-slugcat thing.” Mothcat said, before slightly jumping back as the massive slugcat whipped around, snarling. To add to this, along his spine, a strange line of fire was along it. “Don't scare me, Scug. No. No I haven't.” His antenna drooped down “Oh, ok…” He let out a long sigh “..Guess i'll keep searching for him..”*He looked at the sky, reaching up. He knew he was out there somewhere. He just had to find him, then he could return back to their home. “Name?” The slugcat said, the flames eventually dying out. “Who? Me, or my brother?” The slugcat slightly sighed, before responding with “You.” Mothcat extended his paw, which in comparison to frost, was microscopic. “Mothcat, you?” “..Frostburn.” *Frost cracked his neck, and Mothcat smiled “Frost is a pretty good n-” He instantly froze, his eyes locking onto a miros vulture. And he looked for a hiding spot in a panic, with no luck. Not finding anything else, he dove under Frost’s tail. His tail instantly curled around him, way warmer than normal. Also extremely fluffy. The sound of flames igniting was heard “Come and get it, vulture..” Mothcat pressed his face against Frost’s tail, a feeling of safety and tranquility filling him, letting out a slight squeak. For some reason, the vulture didn't try to get Frost, and instead looked for a way to get Mothcat, despite being smaller, and most likely less nutritious. Frost threw a cherry bomb at it, bringing a spear to his spine, igniting it. The miros vulture aimed at Frost, and Mothcat jumped in front of it, the repercussion being him getting severely wounded. He fell to the ground. His wings were burned, and most of his body wasn't spared either. Frost let out a frustrated growl, throwing the spear at insane speeds, tearing through the vulture. It flew away, wounded. Frost turned his attention to Mothcat, who was on the floor, greenish blood seeping through his wounds. “Holy ancients.. Ok, this might sting a bit. Bite down on my tail..” Mothcat did not question why, but he just listened, gently biting on his tail. Frost brought a burning hot piece of metal to his major wounds, searing them together. His nose wrinkled at the smell of it, and the sound. He rummaged through his pouches, before pulling out a bottle of oil.
Mothcat bit down harder, wincing a little. Frost’s blood was semi-sweet, his tiny teeth slightly causing him to bleed slightly. He rubbed oil on his wings, and Mothcat’s tail slightly wagged, and the oil was seemingly numbing the pain. He wrapped him in bandages, and Mothcat unclamped his jaws, examining the bandages. “..Thanks..-” Frost scruffed his head. “You took that like a champ, kid. You didn't have to, but you put others in front of yourself. We need more like you. Are you feeling any better?” Frost was protectively hunched around Mothcat, occasionally licking him. “A little..it's kinda dark and blurry though..I don't like it at all..” Frost hoisted him over his shoulder, slightly sighing. “Let's get you up..” Mothcat instantly clinged to him, the same feeling filling him. He felt safe. They eventually arrive at a shelter, and he puts mothcat in. He waited, looking out, before the sky darkened. He closed the door, turning to A sleeping mothcat. He was muttering something in his sleep, and Frost got closer, his ears slightly twitching “..No..dada…Don't leave me with mom..” Frost felt a tinge of sympathy, and curled around him, noticing his shivering. He ignited some of his flames, Mothcat leaning into him, slightly crying. “Please..Don't go..” Frost himself felt a slight tear forming, before wiping it away. “Void, you poor thing..” Mothcat jolted up, sinking closer into Frost, his sobs almost inaudible from the rain. Frost had noticed the scar on his chest, which he was covering with his paw. Frost’s fur was matted, and the closer mothcat looked, tiny cuts, Stitches, Seared wounds, scars, all in a very worrying amount. “I miss my dad..I miss him so much..” Frost curled around him, sighing. “If..If only i hadn’t taken that pearl..” Frost gave him a small sip of a sweet nectar. “..I miss my wife and kids..I miss' em’ a lot..” Mothcat nodded for a bit. “You make me feel like I'm with my dad again..” Frost paused, his eyes welling with pride, and he let out a raspy chuckle “..I'm glad i do…” After a while, they went out, after accidentally talking all night portion of the cycle. They barely took two steps outside, before someone snarled Mothcats name, and he instantly froze, his face contorted in fear…
