Anatomy: The dumfisk has 4 pelvic fins, a small dorsal fin, and two appendages at the side of the mouth which help it grab its food or fight off predators, these appendages are heavily derived pelvic frins Evolution: The dumfisk evolved from the plumefish (by @alien_projects) Diet: The dumfisk is herbivorous, feeding on either leaves of different plants or fruit from neozon plants. Life cycle: Young dumfisk swim around in schools of related individuals, when they reach the age of 2 years, they leave the group and find a mate. Then they die. Miscellaneous: Dumfisk are the main spreader of seeds from neozon plants, hence the dumfisk and neozon ranges are similar. Neozon (Neozonneter viridisucus): Overview: Neozon are large plants with brown fruits. Anatomy: Neozon have several large green leaves, at the base of the plant grows many brown fruits that carry many seeds in them, neozon also have a cell wall that help them against parasites or smaller herbivores. Evolution: Neozen evolved from umbrella plants. (By @ThatCorruptedDino) Diet: It's a plant, you have 3 guesses. Life cycle: Neozon start as small seeds inside of a fruit. This fruit is then eaten, while the seed remains inside of the digestive system of whatever ate it, and later sprouts in whatever new place it is carried to. Neozon then become free floating algae carried by currents, until they fall down to the seafloor and start growing roots. Gifblad (Gifblad Blozend): Overview: Gifblad are light-green plants, easily recognizable for their red base. Anatomy: Gifblad consists of a a small root system, a red tinted base, and a thick bunch of leaves. The plants red colors are to ward off herbivores as the plant produces toxins. These toxins can wound larger creatures, and kill most creatures below the size of 3 centimeters. Evolution: The gifblad evolved from the umbrella plants, and are close relatives to the neozon. Diet: It eats sunlight Life cycle: Gifblad produce small spores which then float with the currents, growing a new plant. Gifblad have to produce many spores, as the plants don't produce poison for the first couple of years and are therefore vulnerable to herbivores. Pilegift Limax (Pilegiftfroe Sneglius): Overview: The pilegift limax, looks similar to the now extinct limax privinita, except it's much larger, black and has a yellow pattern on its back, making it easily recognizeable. Anatomy: The pilegift limax has a oval shaped mouth with sharp teeth at the bottom of its head, useful for boring into plants and consuming their juices. Their skin is covered in small pores that expell toxins when touched, poisoning most potential predators. Evolution: The pilegift limax evolved from the sandslugger. (by ) Diet: The pilegift limax mainly eats gifblad, from which they gain their poison. Life cycle: Pilegift limax start as small free-swimming that feed on phytoplankton and deritrus, they eventually grow into their adult forms and start eating gifblad as their digestive system starts functioning better.
