꧁ ᗩ ᖴISᕼ OᑌT Oᖴ ᗯᗩTEᖇ ꧂ Chapter 1 "I can't believe my parents never told me that I had a mermaid cousin!" Exclaimed Sienna. She twirled the seaweed bracelet on her arm that gave her the ability to breathe underwater. "Yeah, but I don't blame them," said Coral, Sienna's cousin. Sienna looked up in surprise. "I mean, how would you explain to your child that they have a secret cousin who lives in the ocean?" Coral corrected. Sienna shrugged, "Fair enough." She watched as her cousin moved her beautiful, scaled mermaid tail and swam around. Was it fair that her cousin was a mermaid, living in the clear ocean waters, when she was a human, going through the hard piles of homework on the boring hills of land? Sienna didn't think so. At least I can wear a seaweed bracelet, be able to breathe underwater, and see this amazing underwater ecosystem, even though I'm not a mermaid, Sienna thought. Suddenly she got an idea. "Hey, Coral!" Coral stopped watching a purple Cauliflower Jellyfish and swam over to Sienna, "Yeah?" "I always come to the ocean to see you. What if you came to land to see me?"
