“Smart..” KAWN started, as his weapon disappeared into a flurry of 1’s and 0’s. As the duo went to sit down, taking a light breather and resting. “Except for one slight problem.” Hazel silently put her knife into her inventory as she sat down. “Which is?” She asked, the inventory panel closing as her eyes trailed away from it. “..What if the soul’s rebelled?” He asked, a slight frown on his face. “I learned from personal experience that the soul’s rebel sometimes.” KAWN mentioned casually. Hazel paused for a moment looking at the window that was to the side, as the golden light poured through the glass. “... I highly doubt the souls would rebel,” KAWN quietly listened as Papyrus would walk over due to him overhearing with their voices slightly echoing around the now empty hall. “ Mainly due to the fact that we’d be using them for, in our eyes, a good reason instead of, once again in our eyes, using them for evil purposes.” Hazel stated, before looking at Papyrus, who looked between the two with a slightly concerned look, and giving him a thumbs up, a reassurance that they were both alright before receiving a small nod in return as he leaned onto the pillar now at a lighter ease the two were alright due to him not actually fighting and being more off to the side within the fight. KAWN nodded, “Makes sense.. But, the only question now is who would control the souls?” Hazel quietly looked to Papyrus, “..Without messing up the timeline than it already is? Papyrus, would you be able to control the souls..?” Hazel asked as KAWN cut off Papyrus before he could speak. “Sorry but- first we would need the souls, so, shouldn’t we make sure the others wouldn't be able to intercept it before we do so?” KAWN asked. Hazel nodded, “Logically speaking.. Yea we should make sure they can’t intervene- but if all goes well..?” She finished her gaze returning to Papyrus, as he nodded, taking his cigarette out of his mouth and blowing some smoke before nodding. “Perfect. It would also be a good idea to stay in snowdin, the Player shouldnt be able to hurt you there.” Hazel said, as she stood up, offering a hand to KAWN, helping him up. “So, where should we start?” Hazel asked, before they both stood there for a moment, looking at each other. “Er, I don't know..” KAWN said, cutting the awkward silence. “..How about we start from Snowdin and find them from there-” Hazel said after a few seconds, “Good idea- how about we split up and look around,” KAWN suggested, as Hazel nodded. “We could meet up at that one hidden room that's in the waterfall, in well- waterfall, and make that our meetup place” KAWN said as he made a coding panel appear, coding something quickly as two walkie talkies appeared in his hands, holding one out to Hazel. “Ah- walkie talkies- smart, we’d need to communicate anyways-” She said, pulling the earpiece from the side of it and putting it in her ear, as KAWN started to adjust and make new code before holding out a hazel colored blade that was in a scabbard. “Here, just so you don't gotta rely on that knife of yours.” KAWN said, holding it out to Hazel as she took it. “..Huh. Thank you-” Hazel said before she pulled the scabbard over her head, adjusting it as they turned to Papyrus. “I’ll go tell the queen to keep an eye on those souls..” Papyrus said, putting his cigarette in his mouth “but first, c’mon, i know a shortcut to where you need to go.” He said, as the three of them started walking as an unnoticed silhouette vanished from behind a pillar, appearing in a basement where The Player stood in Chara’s body. “We have a problem.”
