Chapter 13 - Sports Festival (I IS SORRY FOR SPELLING I AM VERY BAD AT IT AND GRAMMARLY STOPED WORKING RIP-) Bakugo walked through the halls. His footsteps could be heard and it caused many people to shrink away from the normally very soft, very kind boy. Even when Izuku attempted to follow the blonde, he was always caught and lost the boy's trail. Yet eventually, the two had to meet up as class was starting, and that fact was inescapable. “He’s really creeping me out.” “Not manly…totally different aura.” “Do you think he is a traitor?” Whispers were heard throughout the entire classroom with no sign of stopping, after all, Aizawa strangely didn’t attempt to stop the ruckus, because he was sleeping. However the noise ended nonetheless when the newly elected class president, Izuku Midoriya stepped to the front. “I…guys we need to start our work today.” He managed to stutter out despite his ‘stage fright’. Bakugo, was the only person who saw through it as he laid his head on his desk, his eyes gleaming with a particular shine as they bored through Izuku, who didn’t meet the eyes of the blonde. The tension was invisible, yet very clear at the same time for the class as Izuku slowly passed out the announcement papers that he was told to by the lesson plan. “So…like the p-papers say…the sports festival will be starting soon…it's going to take up the entire school day and some more but it will give us all a chance to be scouted by agencies.” The boy quietly spoke. The class looked at each other before at Midoriya once more. “Relax Midoriya!” “Don't be so nervous man, you're doing great!” “Maybe we could get soba later…” The class spoke encouraging words trying to assist their class president who only froze up even worse, before chuckling in response to their sentences. “Yeah, m..maybe you're right.” Midoriya spoke only locking eyes with Bakugou for a split second, his mask dropping as he stared at the blonde before putting his smile back on and finishing up the class as their teacher slept. … It was the day of the sports festival. The tension was in the air as the one on one fight, the finale was about to happen. The fight between Bakugo and Deku. Some people wondered how the quirkless blonde managed to get there in the first place, and it was only with the help of a long pole for a support item as well as a newly overly aggressive persona. Even Luna, who tried to talk to Bakugo, was sent to the infirmary after their match, and that was the one person he was relatively close to at this point.
The two boys stared each other down as the battle began, Bakugo immediately charging at Midoriya who didn't budge, he just stood there. As Bakugo swung his pole he was given, he noticed Midoriya was not budging and stopped his assault right before it hit his head. “Hey. Fight me, now, that's what we're here for aren't we. Don’t you even think of trying to just stand there like some doll.” Bakugo growled. Midoriya, in response, just stared at Bakugou, with daggers and a cold aura. “Why should I fight an overly emotional brat like you who won't even listen to the words I have to say.” He spoke. Bakugo froze at that, before he snapped all the emotions he had coming out of him at once as he swung at Midoriya's head, hitting him directly. The green haired boy fell back, blood coming from his head, yet the blonde didn’t stop. He approached, and attacked, he swung, again, and again. “YOU JUST SHUT THE **** UP I DON'T NEED YOUR PITY JUST COME OUT AND ****ING FIGHT ME ALREADY-” By the time Bakugo realized what he was doing, deku was bleeding heavily on the ground, knocked out cold as Midnight came in and restrained bakugou, who was now, frozen in realizacion as he collapsed to the ground passing out thanks to the females quirk. … When the boy came to, he noticed himself in a hospital bed, besides a Deku who was sitting up, bandages all over him and it almost made him look like he would have been some kind of “demon” with the way his cold eyes showed. But they were gone a split second later as the boy sighed, turning his attention back to the pomeranian. “Listen…Bakugou…we…Kacchan we…need to talk…ok…” Bakugo stared at the boy and sighed. “Look…deku…I…-” He stopped himself as he clenched his fists. “I’m sorry…” He muttered out as he punched the bed beside him. “Damn it I…” Izuku put a hand on Bakugou's shoulder. “Don’t worry about it…it’s ok…we just…lets talk it out…ok…” He sighed. “It’s fine…i’ll heal…just…please listen to me ok. He stared directly into Bakugos eyes, showing a form of vulnerability they both had not known for a very, very long time. “Please we need to figure things out…before AFO and all might…” The boy looked down. “The way you attacked me it's…fine…the class will see you as a traitor now more…then ever I…I’m sorry it had to be you…It should have been me that was-” He was cut off by Bakugou's voice, which was in a soft tone. “Hey-! Don’t say that again, don't you dare spiral again like when we were kids. And besides it's whatever…it's just gonna make sure AFO knows I'm on his side.” Deku stiffened at the mention of Bakugo on AFOs side. He collected himself as he managed to speak in a slightly stiff and firm voice. “Listen. We can't trust him. DON’T Take any sort of quirk from him. We can't risk that. We can’t trust him…I think he’s been using me, and you, ever since we joined, he would throw us into a ditch if he could.” Bakugo was silent, listening to the boy's words, but when he had a chance he asked. “How so…look I joined the villains cause I need a place where I feel at home…and to vent. And it's been not to ****ing bad, so what are you trying to get me to do.” Deku looked him dead in the eyes, a very serious look on his face. “Kacchan we can’t…we both need to get away from the LOV, i’ve already risked too much i'm caught in AFO’s trap we can't have you get caught too…we need to find a way to betray him a…way to get out. I never wanted to be a villain ok? I've been doing what I need to survive…I don’t want you to-” “I can take care of myself. OK? I'm not some weak boy you have to take care of, not anymore…” The blonde sighed letting out any air he had before taking a deep breath. “You were talking about OFA earlier…when we were first talking…how you had to give it to me…how we need to do something like this or AFO will do something pretty darn bad…what were you trying to say…zuchan.” Izuku smiled slightly at the nickname, a bit of nostalgia hitting him as he looked at Bakugo with a genuine smile. “Ok…here's the plan”
