Firstly, I'm sorry for being offline so long, I forget my password and this laptop wasn't charging, a friend found a place with cheaper chargers, but they were on vacation for 20 more days, they came back yesterday and gave me the charger. And even before that I just forgot about scratch, and yeah, but now I'm back soo I can tell you about some things that I should've told about before... While summer vacations were coming, we couldn't find a caretaker for Icy and Kai, so one morning I wake up to see an empty cage without the birds, My father had sold them at a street market for 100 SAR, basically less than 20 dollars or something, the person bought them without the cage from him and got to the local pet store to get a cheaper rabbit cage or some sort, I was crushed, but I hope they're happy... Wherever they are... My parents then got me replacement birds they somehow found in THE TRASH? plucked feathers, cats sniffing nearby, and a bad awful smell of decay, but within was some small beep noises coming out, my mother just stopped the car to throw some trash she found the dashboard, but the bin was next to a closed pet shop, there were some air pump boxes too and poked holes into them and took the birds out of whatever grimy bag they were in. They're zebra finches!
I don't know who would do such a thing, but they're safe now, I thought they were chicks because they didn't have all their feathers, but baby zebra finches are gray, black beaks, and still have all their feathers, these are a pair, male and female with all their colors but not all their feathers, but their feathers have been coming back and i hope they make full recovery I'll post some pictures too My brother named his zebra finch storm, but im still too worried to name mine, she bleeds a ton and has damaged wings, even a deformed foot! she can't perch well at all! we gave away our big cage and we only have those 30 SAR cages but we still keep them outside with their cage door opened, I'm looking forward to getting them a bigger cage if not being able to cat-proof our open play room, they keep hiding under the bikes and scooters and I'm worried about stepping on one, I'm going to make a small corner for them but I've never had finches, keeping budgies was easy because of all the channels and tips out there, but finches are more of an aviary bird or "hands-off" bird, but these guys can barely fly and don't eat that well from our leftover budgie seed, we got some finch mix and I'm making some diy toys and food mixes. I really need help and advice, I want them tame and friendly, In my next project I can show you some pics or reference google images
