Hello everyone, and welcome to Detective Dogeie and the Hidden Truth! (CURRENTLY JUST TESTING!) I’m excited to share this project, which is currently a work in progress (WIP). After taking a break from Scratch for about two years, I’m in the process of re-learning and shaking off the rust. This game will be a side-scrolling detective RPG packed with engaging combat, intriguing mysteries, and a vast array of maps to explore! FEATURES: (SOON TO COME) Combat: Face off against various challenges as you uncover the hidden truth. Mysteries: Solve puzzles and gather clues to crack the case. Maps: Explore a rich and diverse world filled with secrets. CONTROLS: Left Arrow: Move Left Right Arrow: Move Right Up Arrow: Shoot Right Down Arrow: Shoot Left Space Bar: Interact (currently only interacts with certain objects, such as the door on the left) W To access the Wallet Click to interact with tools, clues, Taxi Cabs and (some) Doors. ! ! ATTENTION ! ! A Bittersweet Goodbye… I wanted to share that production of Detective Dogeie: HIDDEN TRUTH on Scratch has come to a permanent halt. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step away from Scratch and begin creating a new version of the game in Unity. This decision is bittersweet—I’ll miss the progress and memories made here, but I’m excited to explore new possibilities and bring the game to life in a fresh way. The Unity version is just getting started, so there’s not much to show yet, but I’ll do my best to keep you updated as development continues. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project—it means the world. :] - OLD UPDATES- 7/15/2025: Added a cut scene on Main-Street. Added NEW Music on main-street! I was trying to add enemies, but it was taking a while so i put it to the side for now, but it should drop VERY SOON!! Added a new map, walk all the way to the left to enter, added a phone system, press P to acsesss it Added a gun shop (buy system not added yet), go to the mainstreet and then click on the door Fixed time not passing by when you ride in a taxi(it now stops rain) Controls below ⚠️ !
