1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? My main series Dragon riders! simple 1-sentence summary can be "A great evil is rising in the land of Alazia, can 5 gifted elves defeat it, or will the beautiful kingdom be lost to darkness forever?" 2: What inspired your story? My friends actually! it was just a silly game we used to play that i've turned into a whole story arc! 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? Made up land called Alazia. I guess it kind of takes place between medieval and current ages. 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? My favorite area has to be a location i'm temporarily calling 'The Depths' It's an area deep under Alazia where the source of evil is trapped and slowly making it's way out. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? The main characters I will focus on is are the "main 5" or Autumn, Summer, Spring, Winter, and Stormi. (Mostly Autumn though) (if my friends are reading this sorry lol) 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? OOOH Gotta be a side character/Antagonist named Ivy. I love his character and he's so fun to write! (I'd love to info-dump about him sometime) 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? The three champions, also known as Haze (19), Shade (19), and Honeysuckle (8). They're key to the plot and have an interesting half-sibling dynamic. 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? UUUUH- unless you wish for me to fully write out the entire book(s) here that's gonna be a bt hard to explain. 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? that's another hard one. But it's probably Ivy again or another side character Pyro 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Autumn is quite literally based off of me. so yeah. We both have a short temper and are protective of friends. 11: Is there an animal sidekick? Dragons. Wouldn't call them 'Animal Sidekicks' though 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? Spring. I love his personality. Especially when it comes to writing interactions between Him and Winter, who is a more serious character. 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? Haven't really thought of that yet. 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? A lot of characters and some events are tied to real things that have happened to me or friends. Mostly characters though. Also I take a lot of inspiration off of DnD for some bits. 15: What genre would you consider your story? High Fantasy 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? Book. though a Musical/play or movie of it would be silly lol. 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? The Distortionist by Ghost and Pals fits the character Shade. Edit: play with fire for Autumn 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? Elves technically 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? UUUU- i dunno 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? many. Many. Roadblocks. but also yaknow the whole "Darkness is trying to overtake Alazia" thing. 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? In a way yes. The character Pyro was originally supposed to fall off of a floating island into the very jaws of the evil Draconic god of chaos Discro. This would open the eyes of the characters, forcing them to realize how dangerous the situation is however, though this still happens, after building on his character a bit and fleshing out how I want the scene to play out I decided it would be better if instead of dying he gets his soul taken away by Discro and corrupted, later coming back as a mere ‘shade.’ 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? Haze. All the way. She's a comfort character for me in a way and in all honestly I sometimes wish she was with me whenever i'm going through something really hard or stressful. (Also it made it easier that I know most of the other characters irl) 23: If any, what weapons are used? Magic is a combat system but the characters are also trained in swordfighting and one character uses explosives. 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? it's more real now. Actually has a story line compared to some random ideas that came to me and some friends outside one day. 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? I think this basically covered it really! But there is a relatively deep lore behind this universe and how peace is protected that I could go deeper into later.
