"You are not a square, only a diamond, young one" LORE: After Square wanted revenge against the Circles because they wiped out his race, he sent his evil sidekick out to warn them of his actions, because he's a diamond, not knowing what he is, he forgot and missed Circle Planet entirely and keeps rolling through the void, forgetting every new memory he forms. Square forgot Diamond too, and went on with his plans.
