Hi everyone! So, I've decided to put together a poetry book with poems from various Scratchers! This is /not/ a contest - all poems that are submitted, so long as they adhere to the topic, will be added. This is really just a compilation of poems, because poetry is an amazing way of expressing our opinions/perspectives, and it's always cool to see how different people interpret a theme. I'm aiming for about 15-20+ poems for this, but I really want to have a variety of writing styles, so I please ask that you only submit one poem. I'm not going to set a deadline for now, but watch out for later updates where I might. Now, the fun part. As you can tell by the project's thumbnail, the topic for the poetry book is GLASS. Now, feel free to interpret that however you want! You can personify it, come up with a lesson about it, just use the word "glass" as inspiration, or go down a totally different route! So long as glass plays a role in your poem, either figuratively or literally, I have no other restrictions to give : ) Also, all types of poetry allowed! Haikus, free-verse, ballads... Anything.
