How do you make popcorn? Do you do so in a fun, tasty, and healthful way? Or in a way that is a bit more wasteful? It's never a bad time to make a change. There are all sorts of projects on Scratch-- games, animations, stories. But a type of project that there should be more of, is a project that moves to change the world. This is one such project. I have owned a hot air popper for longer than I have been on Scratch! It's how I always make popcorn. Which is why it really worries me that people not only insist on making microwave popcorn, but some people even think it is the only way that popcorn can be made. That's not true at all. You can make popcorn that's much cheaper, much healthier, and much less wasteful right at home. This project was originally *way* more complicated than this, but sadly my local editor crashed and I lost the entire project I spent nearly two hours working on :( It was very late at night and I did not want to start over. But I can still spread the message of popcorn.
