Flash seemed happy on the surface- and part of him was, but he was finding that as he walked away from Kira, away from conversation and back to his den, all he could feel was that fear and sadness coming right back again. His light was gone, and so his smile faded and was replaced with what had only been pushed to the back of his mind, never left. Flash had been angry at Kira for a short while, silently blaming her for bringing his nightmares back again. But as soon as he was able to realize that it wasn't Kira's fault- which, granted, was a realization that hadn't taken too long to come, he felt that anger wash away and simply be replaced with the raw terror of home. After all, the fight hadn't caused the nightmares, it hadn't made them up- instead it had simply woken something that had been lying dormant for a little while, waiting for the perfect time to strike again. All that aside though, Kira's teasing had surprisingly made Flash feel better. Kira wasn't mean or hurtful when she teased, just.. funny. She just had that way with people, she could always make someone smile or laugh when she really wanted too. And honestly, Flash needed a little teasing once in a while to keep his ego under control. Though, he wasn't thinking about that. Just an added bonus. As Flash was about to fall asleep again, he really did think he'd have the most awful dreams again. But do his surprise, he had a happy dream, for once, of the life he wished he could have.
