WARNING: Talk of death and injustice. And yes this isn’t a silly game or funny animation. It’s a child screaming *smile* I have found that (thankfully) many people love and care about animals. There are all kinds of projects on scratch alone talking about animal injustice. Those are great, those chimps, elephants, polar bears and etc need help! But it’s time we also talk about something else. First of all, why do we want to stand up for animals? Because their lives matter too. Now take a fly for example. If a fly happens to fly into the wrong house it could be killed. That fly might not be smart, but it had a life. And (in my religion at least) you only get ONE of those. They still feel pain. How could you look at an animals appearance and decide to kill it? Sure, flies are annoying when they buzz. But say if a cat got in your home and started mewing, would you kill it? Of course not! That fly’s life matters just as much as the cats. A life is a life, no matter who it belongs to. This project isn’t just about flies, it’s also about all the other animals that are mistreated simply bc of who they are. Quite frankly it is the same principle as r@cism. You look at a creature and decide that it is lower than you. Just bc they aren’t endangered doesn’t make their lives any less important. Now please don’t just read this and move on. Take action if you truely agree. See a bug drowning? Help it out and put it on a paper towel. Spider in your house? Catch it and put it outside. Thank you for reading.
