Here is a vague summary (to avoid spoilers :)) of the first part of “A Second Chance” Rowan is a 13-year-old boy living on the outskirts of Quadar, a kingdom protected by the League of Legends. One day terrorists attacked the heart of Quadar murdering many innocent citizens leaving Rowan and his family in havoc. The legends also mysteriously disappeared. If the stress wasn't enough he brutally discovered he had a dangerous gift ( being able to control anyone's actionat will) that could destroy his village. Soon after he gets kidnapped by the leader of the legends whom everyone thought was dead. When he’s offered the chance to be a part of a new league and a better life for him and his family, should he take the risks? Or should he play it safe knowing he could lose everyone he loved. He eventually joins the league and meets the other four members: a shapeshifter, a projector, and an emoter, who are less than welcoming of him. The line blurs between Destiny and chance as they struggle to get ahead of their enemies.
