The Cononocia Maximus (Greater Cononoc) is a larger relative of the Pygmy Cononoc. They have much stronger limbs and can walk on the seafloor by boosting themselves using Hydro propulsion. Once the infants hatch they embark on a scavenging lifestyle until they reach 40 cm in length. Adults can get as big as 150 cm, however most only reach 90-120 cms. The Greater Cononoc are poisonous, evident by their coloured shell, the exact toxin is DMT. Which causes extremely active hallucinations that can last between 15 minutes to 2.5 hours. They usually lose the potency at adulthood.
