In 1986, Balance of Power was the 11th and final studio album by ELO. With Jeff Lynne cutting off violins and cellos ever since the Discovery album (1979), though some were used in Time (1981) and Secret Messages (1983), he still cut them off for a more disco and pop synth vibe. With this album being the final one of the band, with Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan (Drummer), and Richard Tandy (Pianist, keyboardist, and the man behind the synthesizers for ELO) Not one of Jeff Lynne's memorable albums but still very favourable owing to their immense popularity and many worldwide hits. During ELO's original 14-year period of active recording and touring, his band sold over 50 million records worldwide, collecting 19 CRIA, 21 RIAA, and 38 BPI awards. For a period in the mid 1970s, the band saw more success in the United States, where they were billed as "the English guys with the big fiddles". Moreover, John Lennon even relabelled them "Sons of Beatles"! Here's the list of tracks on Balance of Power: Side One No. Title Length 1. "Heaven Only Knows" 2:52 2. "So Serious" 2:38 3. This was Jeff Lynne's last album before he left ELO to work on his solo career, along with producing songs for artists such as Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, George Harrison (Member of The Beatles), Randy Newman, and way more! He also went on to form the super group, The Traveling Wilburys, which consisted of Tom Petty, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, and Roy Orbison in 1987, and after leaving the superband a couple years later, he would go on to make his solo album ''Armchair Theatre'' (1990). Years later, in 2001, Jeff would then form ELO again for the album ''Zoom'', which then, after that album, ELO would become Jeff Lynne's ELO, making two more albums, one in 2015 and the last one in 2019. Anyway, enough yapping, album cover isn't mine, it's from the Art Department, ELO, Jeff Lynne. I'll make more vectors soon, til next time, peace! EDIT: Only album cover vectors I won't be making are ''On the Third Day'', and MAYBE Discovery...
