Berylberry poked her head into a hollow stump. Were they finally old enough to travel? She nuzzled each of the five kits- and froze. The last was ice-cold. She bit back a sob. She couldn’t hide them anymore, she supposed. She scooped up the dead kit and dug it a grave, licking its head gently. Beryl turned away, back toward her other kits, shaking. Her clanmates would just have to wonder where these kits that looked so much like her came from. Welcome to Berylberry’s (or Ryl as most cats know her) first litter with Bluewonder! They’re absolutely so excited to introduce their kits! They are biologically theirs. Ryl’s Parenting Style: The kits are all that matter. As long as they enjoy spending time with her, she’s content. Ryl doesn’t feel like she deserves them, so she goes out of her way to make them happy, determined to be the kind of mother for them Quartzflood once was for her. But…she thinks her kits can do no wrong. She prefers her kits call her ‘Mama’ or ‘Mum’ but she won’t make a big deal out of it as long as they call her something along the lines of that. Bluewonder’s Parenting Style Blue is a nice parent, they can be strict at times, only when tired or just annoyed or grumpy but they never yell. They make jokes and love their kits, but, if something happens - kits scratch each other and it broke skin or d34th - then they will be furious, no yelling just strict consequences. ---------------------------------------------------------------- “There’s a time that I remember when I did not know no pain. Kit 1 - Floodkit - AFAB - Polydactyl - Floodkit was named after her grandmother, Quartzflood, who died when Berylberry was a kit. She’s a lovely gray baby with pale gray flecks down her spine and golden eyes. Will grow to 9.5 inches (24 cm) Kit 2 - Copperykit - AIAB - Intersex - Copperykit was named after Copperkit, the cat that Berylberry befriended while grieving for her mother. She experiences a lot of guilt from the events that lead up to their death. Copperykit looks a lot like his mom, but dons white butterfly markings on his rear and dark orange eyes.
Kit 3 - Duskykit - AMAB - No Research Req. - @user Duskykit was named after Duskkit, another of Berylberry’s deceased loved ones. His chosen name, Duskykit rather than Duskkit is because of the dusky moth, and since moths are similar to butterflies, his name is a reflection of Fluffy the caterpillar as well. He has a gentlemanly bow tie marking and butterflies on his left hind leg. He has heterochromatic eyes like his mom. Kit 4 - Flarekit - None - @user Flarekit is named after her great-aunt, Rhodoniteflare, and was eve designed by her roleplayer.
