I stayed in the cabin for a bit and I watched the door. the cabin was empty, with only a few things in it. it had a few rooms, like a small bedroom and a kitchenette. the kitchenette was really small. I didn't know how it functioned. really, I didn't know how anything functioned in this world. There were lamps that worked without electricity, remaining unplugged, and there was a fridge that heated things up instead of cooling things down. I stood in the doorway of the cabin for a moment, a bit surprised that the door was unlocked. I looked around and saw a drawer that had a lamp on it, and the lamp, like I said before, was unplugged... I stepped inside reluctantly. I was totally lost, so Imight as well. and then I just kinda...sat there and waited until someone arrived. And, of course, someone did eventually. I don't know how many minutes or hours it was, I was completely focussed on the door. It opened, I held my breath. was it a monster? a humanoid? Questions flooded my mind as the door creaked open so slowly it was painful. What if this was a bad idea? What if I don't live to see another day? what if- "Oh, you actually came." A girl that seemed to be my age was standing in the doorway. Her smile bright, she walked in. "I didn't actually think you'd do it. You must be pretty gullible." So, I introduced myself, and she did, too. "I'm May." she reached out her hand for a handshake. I laughed a bit, still a little nervous. "I'm Jan." I took her hand and shook it, and soon she got why I laughed. I don't know why she looked so familiar....
(TLDR; Jan (me) went into the cabin and waited for someone to come, and someone did come, a girl named may. I personally think you should read the paragraph if you can, though, because it has more details. :D)
