YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! -Prologue- 2 years ago Stout Waters University rested in the center of the city. Being the only college in the area, it was bustling and full with life. Kevin Cooper waited impatiently for his sister to return to his dorm room. All of his friends had been talking about how good tonight’s football game would be. He sat lazily on a large sofa in front of the TV, his hand occasionally reaching into the bowl of chips he had poured. The door creaked open and a tall lady strolled in. She wore a brown and gray T-shirt, ripped jeans, and a grin. “Diana, what did I tell you about picking on people?” Kevin sighed, his eyes returning to the television as commercials rolled across the screen. “What!? The dweb never does anything about it,” Diana retorted to her brother. “Besides, she deserved it this time," She flopped down next to Kevin, grabbing the bowl of chips. Yeah right, Kevin thought, rolling his eyes. Diana was only a year older but she sure didn’t care at all about what he told her. “12 were found dead in the past 3 weeks," The reporter was talking on the television. “This is a reminder to stay home, and safe until this killer has been apprehended," The football game started at that moment. “Finally,” Diana muttered right before the broadcast cut in. “Attention students, please remain inside your dorms until further notice. This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill,” a stale, automated voice ordered. And just like that the football game returned, which had remained a mere 0-0. Normal people would have an and hid under their bed, but the students of Stout Waters University were used to this. The news from the past months had everyone on their toes. Some janitor probably just saw his own shadow, Kevin thought to himself. The two sat there, watching the game until midnight, when it finally ended in a close 10-8. Kevin stood up and stretched as Diana turned off the TV. “Welp, good night," Kevin gave her a smile that wasn’t returned. Ever since college, his sister had turned into one of those mean girls. All the gossiping and picking on the younger students Kevin felt bad for her favorite victim, a girl a year younger. She never seemed to say anything to anyone about Kevin’s stuck up sister. His thoughts were interrupted by a loud bantering in the hallway. Diana strolled to the door. “Diana, are you mental?” Kevin hissed. Diana turned and gave him a ‘so what?’ kind of look. “You heard what that announcement said!” “Kevin, that was three hours ago, it’s probably over by now, relax,” Diana scoffed. There then came a rat-tat-tat-tat on their door. Diana reached for the handle, and Kevin shoved her away from it. The door clicked quietly and Kevin pressed the lock. But it was too late. He felt the door collide hard with his face as the force of the door opening sent Kevin slamming into the wall. Diana screamed. And Kevin opened his eyes. His vision was all blurry and the room seemed to spin. A woman in a blood splattered, white dress stood in the doorway. “Who… who are you?” Kevin asked. Pulling himself out from the door, staggering as he did. The woman didn’t say anything. Two staff members came barreling down the hall. “You there!” one yelled. The woman turned. She whipped out a knife from her dress and it collided into the forehead of the staff member with a horrifying fwoomp. The other one stopped in their tracks, staring dumbfounded at the body. They slowly started to back away, but the woman practically threw them into a door. As they crumpled to the floor, she slowly turned back around. Kevin had realized his sister was gone, probably ran away when no one was looking. He was the only one left. The woman smiled a gastly smile, before slamming him against the door once more. The door came rushing into Kevin. He gasped for breath. The door came again and everything went black. A silver jeep that he had parked on the campus of Stout Waters University. Jack sat slumped behind the wheel , keeping an eye on the squad of police cars that were parked a few yards away. He watched the dark sky as rain slowly started to pitter-patter on the windshield. The door to the passenger seat opened and his twin sister climbed in. Jack avoided looking at her. Two months ago seemed so far away. His internship at the was going wonderfully, having a year ahead of his twin. He felt like he was truly happy. That was the day of her graduation. The day of the car accident. Jack didn’t know what exactly happened on that day, but whatever it was caused her to completely lose it. She drove back to the lab where Jack was working, driving a stranger's white Mercedes.
