Use it like a real lift. Warning: Loud sounds!

Brand: Otis. Model: Europa 2000. Year: 1998. Modded by White and Davis in 2011, then modded by Kone in 2018. Type: Single ram roped hydraulic with MR. Speed: 1 m/s. Logic: Otis MCS 120 Hydraulic (Replaced with IMEM in 2011, then Kone LCE in 2018). Motor: GMV T2 submersible pump with GMV 3010 mechanical valve block (Replaced in 2018 with a new Bucher Hydraulics submersible pump unit with Bucher iValve i250 electronic valve block). Voice: Older Drucegrove (Replaced with IMEM in 2011, then new Kone UK voice in 2018). Fixtures: Otis Series 1/Europa 2000 (Replaced in 2011 with red Dewhurst US 91 EN, then the cab fixtures got replaced with Kone KSS 280 in 2018). Capacity: 630 kg or 8 persons. Doors: Otis. Floors: 5(0, 1, 2, 3 and 4). Position of the MR: At floor 0, behind the shaft. Starter type: Star-delta (Replaced in 2018 with a solid state/direct-on-line (DOL) starter). Location: Undisclosed posh flats, Leicester, UK. This is the lift at a posh block of flats built in 1998. This lift was a 1998 Otis hydraulic with MCS 120 logic and a GMV pump. What's very weird and very rare about this particular lift is the fact that it was built in 1998, yet, it has Otis Europa 2000/Series 1 button instead of Otis 2000 buttons. Unfortunately, a Karen owned this place between 2011 and 2017 and she decided to get this lift modded into a stupid generic! So, she contacted White and Davis Lift Services in 2011 and they replaced the fixtures with Dewhurst and the logic got replaced with a terrible IMEM Ascensores controller! Since the lift got modded, it took like 10 seconds to charge the hydraulic and 10 another seconds to do a (censored) levelling! This made the residents very frustrated and the power unit overheated due to that! This lift was also very very poorly maintained by White and Davis! Then, a new building owner arrived in November 2017 and at the same time, the poor GMV power unit bit the dust for good! So, the new owner decided to get Kone to mod the lift! They replaced the inside fixtures with KSS 280, replaced the dead power unit with a new Bucher one with an iValve electronically regulated valve block and they replaced the horrid IMEM Ascensores controller with a nice Kone LCE logic! And, now this lift is super efficient for a hydro: It only takes 1 second to charge the hydraulic and it takes 1 second to level (2 seconds if you count the deceleration) thanks to the Kone LCE logic and the semi-intelligent levelling. There is no pre doors though which is quite disappointing for a LCE equipped lift but it's a still really nice mod! And another thing is the fact that these particular KSS 280 buttons look a bit like Otis Series 1 which is very interesting to see on a lift that used to have Europa 2000/Series 1 buttons! Also, the lift is really quiet. The new pump unit sounds quite nice but I think the original GMV T2 pump sounds better! And one last thing, I listened to the MR of this lift. MR sound project: Update: I found an epic original 1998 Otis hydraulic lift in the block of flats next door. Original 1998 Otis hydraulic: Coming soon.
