Isabell's pov: Isabell ran until she reached the storage compartment. That was where she could catch her breath. The sounds of the rattling train and Theo and Roselette’s voice calling for her occupied her ears for the moment. “You’re going back into that suitcase no matter how you feel” she muttered to herself, slipping into Hermione’s suitcase, and zipping the zipper. Wait, why am I doing this? she thought. She felt guilty that she was leaving her family behind. She knew her parents were going to be worried sick about where she was and her sisters, the ones she had left home alone. You could not trust Bella and Jackie being home alone, usually they would make a mess of the house that their parents forced Isabell and Hermione to clean up. That will not be happening this year though, but then they would be mailing Hermione once they noticed that Isabell was missing and then Hermione would obviously start panicking like she always does and then throw a tantrum. Isabell wondered about this repeatedly. She was always the one for making stupid decisions like this one time, when she was nine, Isabell decided to “play the dog ate my homework” lie. So, in the middle of the night, she snuck into her neighbor’s house and was about to feed her math homework to their golden retriever (which seemed like the biggest dog ever compared to her) their neighbor, who was a cranky old lady woke up and told her to scram (Isabell was lucky enough to not have her call the police because then she would be ended) Isabell stayed curled up in the suitcase for what seemed like hours. She kept the memories to entertain her, but even those could not help herself fighting the sleepiness she was having. It must be nighttime right now Isabell decided, unzipping her sanctuary to check. This was another thing to add to her never-ending list of stupid decisions she had made in the short almost twelve years of her life. She checked the windows outside. Sure enough, Isabell was right. It was nighttime. So how long did this train ride last? Sighing out of impatience, Isabell zipped the suitcase with herself inside it still. Her eyes felt heavy. All day she had been hiding in here (not including having that short walk around the train and being stopped by Roselette and Theo) she needed to sleep if she wanted to be functioning the next day. Slowly, Isabell closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Only to be awakened by a scream, not just any scream- it was Hermione’s annoying, high-pitched scream whenever she was jump scared or terrified. “STALKER!” she yelled. Isabell opened her eyes with a jolt and noticed she was not on the train anymore; instead, she was in a room where all the beds, curtains, and walls were a fiery shade of red. Is Isabell was fully awake, she would’ve sworn that she was going blind. “SOMEONE’S STALKING ME!” Hermione skreiched; Isabell had noticed there were four other girls in that same room, all their heads turned towards Hermione and as Isabell looked closer, one of those girls was Roselette. “Don’t worry ‘Mione” Isabell muttered still half asleep, “We’re not going to be late for school. Just let me get my rest” This made Hermione stop shrieking. She stopped moving as if she were a statue. Then, slowly, she crept up to the suitcase and tapped Isabell lightly on the shoulder. “Isabell?” she said with confusion. This one sentence made Isabell fully awake “W-where am I?” she wondered aloud, stepping out of the suitcase and onto the carpeted surface of the room, which was also red. “Isabell!” Roselette greeted and stepped sabell, “Where were you? You missed getting sorted” “Roselette, I think you may be mistaken” Hermione said her voice low, “Isabell isn’t supposed to get sorted. Not now, not ever” Roselette looked heartbroken, “of course she’s supposed to get sorted,” she said with determination, “that’s why we go to Hogwarts, to get sorted, turn against each other, and learn magic!” “You don’t get it!” Hermione’s voice was now loud enough to fill the whole room, “Isabell isn’t supposed to come to this school. She’s a muggle” This made Roselette cross her arms, “she can’t be a muggle, then how is she even inside this castle. Hogwarts has spells that repel muggles away from here” she shot her a look that could kill even the strongest of men. Hermione sighed a deep low sigh. “We should speak to Professor McGonagall about this”
