One day, while his parents weren't home, he sat on the couch watching the telly', the bullies broke into his house, and started attacking him with daggers and crowbars (don't ask why they did it), until he was dead. But for some reason, he soon became transparent, and... alive? Yeah, so apparently, his pajamas that he owned were a sacred artifact and anyone who wore them, were immune to dying, though no one could see you. Billy fled the scene and went to his parents, who were out shopping. But since no one could see him, his parents did neither. Soon, Billy was declared missing, but he didn't really care now, he was a ghost! (Plus his parents ignored him a lot) And continues to fly around the late London skies to this day.
