If you have any feedback please share it with me! ------Full Changelog----- 12.05.16: Starting a new blank project, brainstorming, First concept of a racing sequel to Gran Turismo 2D, my previous project. In fact, the only thing which I kept were the initials 'GT2D', which now is just a codename and has nothing to do with Gran Turismo. (similar to ToCa: Racedriver -> Racedriver GRID). 14.05.16: [TITLE_SCREEN] is now beta; [ABOUT_MENU] is now alpha. Still the concept of a racing simulator in mind 15.05.16: [TITLE_SCREEN] various bug fixes and easter eggs; [SETTINGS] is now alpha; [ARCADE_SELECT_TYPE] is now alpha, with one icon (sprint) ready. Now the concept finally changed to streetracing, with inspirations to Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) and Need For Speed Carbon. 21.05.16: The driving engine is finally properly working and is ready to be implemented into the game; [INTRO] is now alpha; [ARCADE_SELECT_TYPE] is now beta; smaller bug fixes. (to this moment of development the gameplay wasn't even implemented yet.) 23.05.16: [SPRINT_SELECT_TRACK] is now beta with one selectable track, but driving still not implemented; [CANYON_BACKGROUND] is accessable and leavable, although it caused a ton of bugs which got 90% fixed; [INTRO] updated. 27.05.16: After a long time of testing and researching I finally managed to get the game engine to work and implemented it into the game, alpha stage; various bugs fixed. 05.06.16: open world is implemented and is now accessable at arcade->free roam; minimap implemented (not properly working though); car gauge added;gauge customization added; first concepts for the race modes and minimap race mode added; bug fixes. 07.06.16: the open world got under the knife and is good in progress, it reached beta status; mini map is now beta, the dot is going in the right directions, but it's dimension is too big (delay of 2-3 cm); a hitbox got implemented into the code but it's causing way to much lag so it is inactive; usual bug fixing. 09.06.16: New car available: Audi R8; car selection for arcade (open world) added, with 3D showroom cars; overhauled sound engine (3-step-acceleration sound); minor bug fixes and enhancements. 10.06.16: huge music overhaul with 4 tracks which can also be viewed manually at settings>jukebox; added new visuals on the title screen (moving platforms at the bottom); good old bug fixing. 14.06.16: <<<<<<< OFFICIAL RELEASE! >>>>>>> introducing the first two sprint races - suburb and suburb reverse! ; final first-release-bugfixes 27.06.16: Vector update: Porsche 911 and Audi R8 are remade in Vector; small bug fixes Developed by Aeleix SPECIAL THANKS TO: 3D Tuning for 3D showroom models: www.3dtuning.com NoCopyrightSounds for music: www.youtube.com/nocopyrightsounds Disclaimer: All work is by me exept for music. - - - - - -- -- -- --- -- --- --- --------- -- ----- ----- ------ ---- ------ ---- --- --- ------- ------ ------- -- - ----- ------ ---- -- ----- ------ --------- -------------------- - ---------- ----- -----------------------------------2016 BondSoftWorks------------------------
