When signing up for roleplays I will typically pick one of them that would fit the given roleplay, and alter them a bit. Like if I think Valor would work for a certain roleplay, but that roleplay doesn't have magic, I'd still use her, but I'd alter her bio a bit so that she doesn't have magical powers, or if she was in a roleplay in a time with different fashions I would change her looks, etc. This is also being very frequently worked on, as I have a LOT of characters.

So kind of like respawning. And when I say a character dislikes someone every sane person dislikes, like how Val dislikes s3x!sm in her bio, it doesn't mean the others don't like it, she does dislikes it on a more personal level so she gets more heated about it then most other people.
