For my piece I drew Poseidon destroying Odysseus' ship. Bonus detail, my Poseidon design is blind in one eye to imitate the cyclopes Odysseus' blinded but it's also kind of an Easter egg to another myth where Poseidon and a couple of other gods tried to overthrow Zeus, which Zeus wasn't happy about so he turned Poseidon mortal temporarily, so yeah that's why the scars shaped sort of like a lightning bolt. And it does happen before the Odyssey since while he was mortal he was forced to build the wall around Troy, which is one of the reason the war lasted so long. Hope I made obvious I'm a little obsessed
