Ever since the Military Cabinet took power shortly after overthrowing the Tsar, the situation within the government was never truly calm; with each major power player within the Cabinet trying to usurp the others control over the nation, there was no respite from the infighting. This has come to a boiling point in recent weeks as the more liberal Navy has, for all intents and purposes, hijacked control of the Government. The recent shift in diplomacy made by the Provisional Government was no accident, nor coincidence, but a product of an internal power struggle within the government which is about to spill over. Inherently, the Cabinet is split into two factions; The left, more reformist and adjacent to Tsar Ivan III's government, which is lead by the Navy. Then there is the right, far more conservative and aligned with the core values of the coup. In the past, these two factions were balanced delicately in power. But now, the Navy and its alliance of various other seats within the Cabinet have silently taken control of the nation and have steered it in a new direction. This has spurred on protests from the Army, escalating to a point where many think another violent shift in power is inevitable. Only time will tell, however.
