PRIVATE - the "pawns" function normally HELICOPTER - the piece in the place of a knight is a helicopter, it can shoot at all the squares a knight can reach. it moves 2 squares horizontally and vertically. MORTAR - it can move diagonally 1 square, fires in a diagonal similar to a bishop but only five squares. GUNMOTORCARRIAGE(GMC) - it can move 4 squares vertically, horizontally, and shoot 3 squares vertically, horizontally. SELFPROPELLEDGUN(SPG) - moves 5 squares horizontally and vertically and diagonally, can hit up to 7 squares in the same pattern, if there is no allied piece within two squares of the target square, it cannot fire. cannot shoot adjacent squares. It takes the place of a rook. HEAVYTANK(TANK) - substitutes the queen, can move 4 squares vertically, horizontally and diagonally, shoot 5 squares in the same pattern GENERAL - in the place of the king, the general is pretty much a king. GRAYAREA, AIRSTRIP - there are two aircraft in the hangar, the smaller one is a Drone, the bigger one is a Strike Aircraft(LOOK,BELOW,FOR,MORE). In front of the hangar is a AA Truck, it can shoot down aircraft within two squares. it moves 4 squares at a time. NAVY - the small boat in the water is a Destroyer, it moves 5 squares vertically and horizontally, in the water. it can shoot four squares vertically and horizontally. The big boat is a Dreadnought. it can move 3 squares in the same pattern as the destroyer, it can shoot six squares. this piece takes up four squares in a two by two area. BASIC RULES, three moves per player, Ground, Sea and free move per turn. the free move can be used for Ground, Sea or Air. All pieces are split into three classes GROUND(8): Private(P), GMC, SPG, Helicopter(H), General(G), Tank(T), Mortar(M), AAT SEA(2): Destroyer(DT), Dreadnought(DN) Air(2): Drone(D), Strike Aircraft(SA) ADVANCED RULES - you can beach the two boats, and the squares hit by these ships becomes unusable for the rest of the game, you will sacrifice your ship in doing so, all ground pieces on affected tiles will die. ramming boats will cause a similar effect, this is the only way a destroyer can destroy a dreadnought. - the SPG, DT, DN, M, can hit targets anywhere along their firing trajectories as long as there are (P, G, D, H, SA) within two squares of the target. for example, SPG shoots in a straight line. check CC for more info - the grey 2x2 squares on the corner of land are mountains, all pieces except for SA, D, DT, DN. T, GMC can come here. When here the pieces can only move one square at a time except for H. pieces not on the mountain cannot shoot at pieces on the mountains except SPG, DT, DN, D, SA, M, H, AAT - the green area in the (almost)middle is a forest, all pieces except for D, SA, DT, DN, T, H can come here, when here pieces can only move one square at a time - all pieces except for M, SPG, DT, DN, SA, D, H, AAT can shoot pieces that are behind other pieces COMPATIBILITY CHART(CC) (>) can kill (<<) cannot attack (ID) instant death if within two squares PRIVATE > P, G, M, AAT, H << D, SA, DT, DN, T, GMC, SPG GENERAL > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, T, AAT << D, SA, DT, DN MORTAR > P, G, M, GMC, SPG, T, AAT, DT, DN << H, D, SA HELICOPTER > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, AAT, D, SA << T ID - DT, DN GMC > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, T, AAT, D, DT, SA << DN SPG > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, T, AAT, D, DT, SA << DN T > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, AAT, D, SA << T, DT, DN AAT > P, G, M, H, AAT, SA << GMC, SPG, T, DT, DN D > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, AAT, D, SA << T, DT ID - DN DT > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, AAT, D, DT, SA << T, DN DN > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, T, AAT, D, DT, DN, SA SA > P, G, M, H, GMC, SPG, T, AAT, D, DT, SA ID - DN AIRCRAFT Strike Aircraft - can fly forward 4 squares and diagonally 1, you need to fly in a straight line towards the target, and the plane will stop on the square behind the target, the target and all targets(Exceptions) from the origin point till the end point will die, see CC for more info Drone - can fly forward 3 squares and sideways 1 square, can shoot at targets within 3 squares see CC for more info it takes wo moves to get an aircraft into the air and fully operational, one to get it out of the hangar and on the runway and another to take off. when taking off the aircraft will be on the square immediately after the runway he he boi
first few pieces of code in place, done placing all the pieces in their starting squares I saw this cool looking thing on youtube, i watched it and it looked pretty nice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmkO7PzaZN0&t=11s&pp=ygUYdGhpcyBuZXcgY2hlc3MgaXMgaW5zYW5l these pieces were of my own design and hand drawn, but some of them were inspired by real life vehicles and people, like the De Hallivand Mosquito and the ARL 44
