Long ago, there was a group of like-minded people. People that wanted to share their ideas with the world. Together, these people began to grow a garden. It took countless days of planting and watering, tending to each flower, careful to make sure it didn’t wilt. And after a long time, they opened the fence to the garden, and let people view their hard work. The Gardeners made sure to keep it happy and healthy everyday, and even their visitors helped along too. Some found some beautiful flowers to plant in. Some helped to spread the word. Some helped to paint the fence and decorate the pots. Some built pillars and protected the plants from stormy weather. Insects of all kinds flocked to their leaves and helped to spread their influence across other grassy plains. It was an escape from daily stress, to sit down and enjoy the view. A haven for people to bond and create. A place built from the ground up. It lasted a decade or two, before disaster struck. The things they built crashed down, not strong enough to withstand the storm. Petals frayed, stems broken, paint withered. And nothing was left but the corpses of their happy memories, strew across the clumped dirt, unable to salvage. The Gardeners couldn’t leave it to decay, so the wilted plants were dug up, and the garden was closed. But nature always finds it’s place. It always finds a way to grow back, brighter and stronger than ever before. So maybe, just maybe… A sprout will grow back, and the visitors will rebuild the garden anew. But only time will tell.
