STORY: in 1951, since the streets of San Francisco were getting more and more chaotic, the San Francisco railroad built the S-10 "peregrine". this locomotive pulled passengers and light freight. it was originally equipped with 4 whistles and 1 bell. in 1973, the rail safety organization purchased 2030, and turned her into 19700, now equipped with 2 bells, 2 mars lights, and 7 WHISTLES. 19700 toured the country pulling a special train called "look out for the train!" (extremely creative i know). eventually it was retrofitted back into it's formal self (it kept the 6 whistles tho) and sold off to the eerie Lackawanna, where it was converted to oil and ran commuter trains until 1994, where it was retired and preserved, and then restored in 2019.
