It's a ghost garden. All you have to do is wait. Although if you got really bored I guess you could try hitting keys or moving the mouse or something. Maybe that makes plants grow faster? Moths like grass, deer like grass, owls like the tree, nobody likes scary haunting things, but sometimes the stag can frighten them away.
