Hello, everyone. I have an announcement regarding my BATTLEKATS game and the Scratch.mit.edu Banning System drama. Firstly, thank you all so much for your overwhelmingly support on my projects. Please be aware that game development takes time and I'm trying my best to release the game ASAP. I've been working on this massive project for almost 2 years now. But, here is the news: BATTLEKATS is now going to move to the Cocrea Gandi IDE engine. This is a massive disappointment to you guys and me but it's for the greater good. I am very sorry for the inconvenience and I hope that you guys can forgive me. The reason why I'm transferring the game to a different engine is firstly, Scratch's banning system. Lately, YouTubers who are members of the scratch website and/or community have shared that scratch is dying with wrongly accused banning. I want to share my projects and stories with all of you without any restrictions. Thus, I'm moving and transferring the game to another game engine to prevent banning issues. Secondly, Gandi seems overall better than Scratch. With more features to choose from. Thirdly, the game contains lots of gun violence and Gandi IDE lets me pick which rating I can assign to the game. Very useful option. Hands down. Lastly, Scratch lately has been taking some wrong turns such as adding AI to their website. This is very. And I mean, VERY. WRONG. Firstly, it will destroy and increase the absence of creativity. Scratch is a website to create projects and learn computer science. Targeted for kids at ages 8-12. With this feature, kids will never learn coding anymore and won't put effort into their projects. If this drama persists with more information shared within the Scratch community, I will leave Scratch and won't return. I'll still be available on Gandi if you need to see what I'm working on or if you want to talk to me in case that happens. I hope you're looking forward to @Kats_Sad's work and my work. Well, I should probably get back to work now. BATTLEKATS won't make itself! Toodles! - Teacup (Lead developer and creator of BATTLEKATS) Edit: BATTLEKATS IS NOW MOVING TO OPEN GL AND PENGUINMOD PERMANENTLY. WE HAVE MADE OUR FINAL DECISION.
