This is the monthly siren test of Forest County, which happens on the first Saturday of every month at 1:00. There are no known recordings of a Hurricane 130 with the blower activated, but judging by the recordings of the chopper only, It's probably safe to say that it sounds nearly identical to the Hurricane 130 MKII. Name: Alerting Communicators of America Hurricane 130 (MK-I) Chopper ports: 10/8 Alert time: around 1 minute (who's sleeping on the job?) Pole height: around 6 ft. (on a brick tower) Other sirens heard: 2001-SRN, H.O.R Super Sirex Decibel output at 100 feet: 130 db. Location: On top of a used to be fire department near the city. Cool Facts: This is the first version of the Hurricane series. The "MK-I" that people use for it doesn't actually exist in the real name! Only one is known to exist, and it is in private possession.
Thanks to Montecat 33 on YouTube for the audio! Also, thanks to @dingusGamer for the idea! ...Anybody notice the better audio quality? I used an external audio editor this time to keep the stereo sound! If you didn't know, editing sounds in the Scratch audio editor makes sounds mono instead of keeping it stereo. Despite the fact that I get a lot of suggestions, I still need good audio for the sirens so they can properly work, so I may not be able to use all of them. I'm thinking of switching to omnidirectional sirens, but I don't know how I would do that. I want to have something moving in the backgrounds, so it's not just a picture, so if you have an idea let me know! I have lots of time to make the art but I'm too dang lazy sometimes to make it lol (also other projects)
