This isn't really my theory, credits to: @amethys7 @-mimikyuuuu- @OcelotQueen But I also added in some blanks or extras :) Theory 1# So in the character description, the character's pelt colors aren't what they are in the comic itself. Loam is supposed to be a ginger, Faded a cinnamon color print, Clearpaw a brown and white cat, and etc. Instead, they show up pink/gray in the comic. Some of you might say it's a style choice, but Ranboo would probably put some more meaning behind the aesthetic purposes; if not both. This might be because everyone but Loam is dead. Everything around the death mud is gray, possibly meaning it's dead. Also, every other cat except Loam is gray. Keep in mind, Loam is going on these so called "hunting patrols" alone. Theory 2# (I don't think this is possible but oh well) straight words from @-mimikyuuuu- It could be that Loam is something between the mothers in https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/731342927 and your standard delusional person who made up all the cats around them cuz he couldn't handle the pain of losing his clanmates? Theory 3# (mine hehe) Loam could be in a dream, or as some of you may call it, a haze. He might be dreaming of a delousinal world, which is fake or once used to be real. Considering the title being called "Loam Alone", he might also be having a flashback of his so-called "clan" and this world may interfere with his reality; causing him to go hysterical if not handled properly. (I'm thinking weird core/dream core here guys) Theory 4# (also mine but simple) This could be because of us, humans. Oil probably, or toxins from construction nearby Oh also the story belongs to @9rainbowtails
