"Gwen, this is a new low, even for you," Coco whined as Gwendolyn dragged her to Ivory Lily, a new girl's clothes store that had recently opened up in the mall. "Coco, you aren't showing up to the school dance looking like a McDonald's hobo," Alodie crabbed as people gave them odd looks. "It'll be fun," Lola chimed, unfazed. The girls finally dragged Coco inside, expecting her to run away as soon as their tired arm muscles let go of her, but the racks of clothes made her stop. Racks and racks of dresses, blouses, jeans, and shoes lined shelves, tables, and displays. Gwendolyn and Alodie let out small breaths of wonder. For the first time, Coco was excited to go shopping --*-- Half an hour later of browsing, oohing, and ahhing, the group headed to the fitting rooms in order to try on their new fashion masterpieces. Alodie went first, trying on a tea-length, light blue dress with puffy sleeves and silver stars sewn into the tulle overskirt Coco, Gwendolyn, and Lola frowned. The sleeves made Alodie look like a vampire. Next came a black velvet dress with long sleeves and a gossamer white ribbon around Alodie's waist. "YES," Gwen, Coco, and Lola chimed in unision. As Alodie dragged the rejected dresses over to a rack and took the velvet one and her babysitting money to the cash register, Coco took her own pile behind the light pink curtain. --*-- "EWWWWW," Gwen said. Although the dark blue dress had looked beautiful on the rack, the string of pearls at the hem of the short, puffy sleeve drew attention to the fact that the stitches were digging into Coco's arm and turning her skin a shade of cherry red. Coco flushed. "Yeah, most sleeves don't agree with me..."
Ivory Lily is not a real clothes store. Gwendolyn belongs to @--strxwberryskiies-- Alodie belongs to @-himari-san- Lola is a satyr I had fun making them shop.
