le backstory: Luna was a nice housecat. She would always wait on the fence, staring out into the forest. Her friend, Chester, would always tell her that it was rumored that a Wendigo (skinwalker-like deer thing) was roaming the forest. Her brother, Henry, ventured into the woods, on the very border, saying "See? Its not that dangerous!" but then, he fell to the ground, screeching in terror "SOMETHING JUST BIT MY LEG!!" He would yell. Luna and Chester thought he was joking, until he saw Henry's leg flop down with a sort of black liquid (Wendigo venom) seeping through. His whole body flopped to the ground, and he was dragged into the forest. Luna, despite Chester's warnings, ran after him. She saw that Henry was already dead, so she leaped on the Wendigo's back, and it clawed off her tail. Still, she stuck on its back. Luna managed to climb the Wendigo, killing it with a snap to the neck. It fell to the ground, and Luna decided to wear the bones as a joke to scare Chester, but when she did, the book caught her neck. She tried to get it off, but every time it broke, it would come back. She was stuck with the book. She tried to take the bones off to get a better look, but she couldn't. She noticed that the book enchanted some of the bones to make up for her lost tail, but she couldn't get them off of her. She ran back to her house, but when she got there, she couldn't leave the forest. She is now stuck, trying to navigate the spells of the book. She did enchant some candles to light her way, but she is still memorizing the spells. When she wants to learn a spell, she can tap the book, and it grows. Still, she cannot get it off her neck, but it still works as a book. The little spirit wrapping around her paw is the spirit of the Wendigo haunting her. She is trapped in this forest, to forever be stuck there because of this foul curse.
